Platform fees

• Our API publisher account is free to use for as many APIs as you list
• You can have any number of free API subscribers and will not be charged for it
• We only charge commission when you make a sale via Tiny API

Commission

Note: Our commission rates are flat 10% for all API publishers until July 2024.

After July, 2024 →

• Tiny API charges anywhere between 10% to 25%
• You start with 20% commission
• Optimise for a lower commission (upto 5%) by
  • API rating > 4.5 (1% less commission)
  • Refund rate < 5% of net monthly sale (2% less commission)
  • 100+ paid subscribers per month (2% less commission)
  • If you hit all of the above your effective commission will be 15%
• You can be charged additional commission (upto 5%) for
  • More than 5 incidents* per month (1%)
  • Refund rate more than 10% of net monthly sale (2%)
  • API rating less than 4 (2%)
  • If you fail to maintain all of the above your effective commission will be 25%

*incident = API outage or missed SLA on support tickets
